Mia Crawford possesses over 20 years of professional experience in international relations and policy-making, primarily focusing on sustainable forest management, biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable development. Throughout her career, she has worked for esteemed organizations such as the United Nations, Council of the Baltic Sea States, and the Swedish government. Presently, Mia serves as the Forest Director for EU and International Affairs at the Federation of Swedish Family Forest Owners.

Forests have always played a significant role in Mia's life, serving as a perpetual source of inspiration and a platform for continuous learning. With a Master's degree in Forest Ecology from Umeå University, Sweden, and a Master's degree in Environmental Policy from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in the United States, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to her work. Mia's upbringing in the western part of Sweden exposed her to the world of family forestry, further igniting her passion for this field. Currently residing in Stockholm with her family, she continues to contribute her expertise and dedication to the forest sector.
