Jean-Pierre Piganiol is an independent forestry expert who has been managing a family forest for 30 years. He has worked in international companies in different fields including export and started to take care of a farm which changed to organic 10 years ago. He is president of Fédération des Forestiers Privés de France (Fransylva) a Private Forest Owners federation in France since 2020. Jean-Pierre Piganiol joined Confederation of European Forest Owners (CEPF) as a board member 2 years ago. He has also since joined the board of IFFA.
