Jog Raj Giri, currently serving as the Chairperson of the Association of Family Forest Owners in Nepal, has been actively involved in Natural Resources Management for 27 years in Nepal. Throughout his 28-year professional career, he has gained extensive experience in Institutional Capacity Building, Policy Advocacy, Project Conceptualization, and Natural Resources Management, with a particular focus on the concerns of marginalized communities, including women, Dalits, differently-abled individuals, and rural communities.
Chairperson Giri has made significant contributions through his articles in daily magazines and newsletters, as well as through presentations at numerous national, regional, and international conferences. His expertise lies in the field of Family Forestry, where he has garnered a wealth of knowledge and experience. Additionally, he serves as one of the Board of Directors for the International Family Forest Alliance (IFFA).
Jog Raj Giri has played a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of Family Forestry in Nepal through the establishment of the Association of Family Forest Owners, Nepal.
